When we arrived at Pismo Beach our room was not ready yet so we decided to drive into the nearby town of San Luis Obispo.

This town has an almost European vibe to it with little boutiques and outside cafes. We enjoyed some ice cream and shopping while we waited for our hotel room.

In the afternoon we were finally able to settle into our hotel so we started to explore the area a bit. Unfortunately it was too cold to be swimming in the ocean or even the pool. But nonetheless you saw a few very brave people attempting to do so.

We took things slow and relaxed and enjoyed the waves crashing onto the beach.
