Even though it was not very warm we spent the day at the beach, just walking and enjoying the water and the sand.

We walked from the hotel to Pismo Pier which is currently being rebuilt.

Daughter Number One had hurt her toe the day before and could not get her feet wet but the rest of us was walking barefoot.

At at pier we had some frozen yogurt and then we turned around to head back to the hotel.

These pelicans nest on the cliffs underneath the hotel grounds. Especially at sunset you see them flying around the hotel gardens in big flocks.

Pismo Beach was a wonderful stop on our round trip! The beach is very nice and we really enjoyed our relaxing couple of days here.
