We keep coming back to this beautiful spot: the “Obere Firstalm”.

It’s a wonderful hike through the woods. We started at the Arabella Hotel this time and walked past the boat rental up to Untere and then on to Obere Firstalm where we had lunch.

It is the perfect hike for a sunny day with friends, not too difficult or steep so you have enough breath to chat all the way.

You can do this hike as a round trip which takes you back down to lake Spitzingsee.
