Life changes and it certainly does for us at the moment. Daughter One moved out from home at the end of last year and daughter number two will do so in a few weeks. So hubby and I decided to explore the world once again as a couple for the first time in almost two decades.

As destination for our first trip we chose a round trip through Washington state. We flew into Seattle but as soon as we had our rental car we left the city to drive to Snoqualmie Falls.

Fans of “Twin Peaks” will remember this stunning location as the waterfalls and their surroundings became the show’s landmark location.

From Snoqualmie Falls we continued to our hotel in Puyallup where we crashed early after the long flight.
