On our way to Bainbridge Island we stopped for coffee in Port Gamble. This quaint little town could be the scene for a TV series and even though we had planned to just drive through we found ourselves walking around browsing through gift stores. Also Port Gamble hosts a wonderful quilt store. I have always admired the art of quilting and was in awe with the beautiful designs they displayed.
Poulsbo was where we were headed. This town resembles Norwegen towns and Inhad read about it. What sounds quite charming turned out to be very touristy and we left again quickly.
This way we had more time in Bainbridge Island- which was a good thing. Bainbridge Island is a beautiful town right across Seattle with marvelous beach front houses. We hiked through Fort Warden park and just enjoyed the sunshine that had eloped us on the first part of our journey.
Stay for the night was a gorgeous Airbnb in Bainbridge. We wished we could have stayed longer but Seattle was waiting for us.
